RAS for Oil

1. Orientation

RAS is an oil reservoir dynamic analysis platform, which is based on analysis theory, experience, and analyzing regulations of oil gas dynamic. It orients production/oil dynamic analysis of oil reservoir management and research to Customers as follows:

For Oil Plant Geographic Research Institute: Tracks gas field/gas well production, current status of exploitation, analyze the reason of production fluctuation and development history, analyzes production law of oil field and single well, and make quarterly/ yearly analyzing plan.

For Research Institute: Medium-and-long term study and theme analysis.

For leaders: High-efficiency; understands the efficiency of oil reservoir development.

2. Target

1) According to various job responsibilities and workflow, regulations, requirements of dynamic analysis, it analyzes various aspects in different levels;

2)Understand dynamic analysis work process of each position, cooperate, and share information, data, and achievements with each other;

3)Quickly obtain graph, curve, data from platform to help users to improve the quality and speed of dynamic analysis;

4)Update static and dynamic database to improve practical usage;

5)Update oil development index to guide users make decision;

6)Gather all achievements from dynamic analysis software.

3. Function

According to users’ habitude, researches have two ways to carry the outwork, one is via platform, the other is via single well, group well, and oil field. Platform functions as follows:

3.1 Daily Dynamic Analysis

Through proximity warning indicator, production index, comparative analysis results and gradient drilling to discover problems from oil/water well production. Discover the reasons of problems by several ways, namely injection/production analysis, dynamic monitoring, work over operation, static data, the law of single well production after it proposes treatment and evaluates the efficiency of single well.

3.2 Monthly/Quarterly Dynamic Analysis

Monthly/Quarterly Dynamic Analysis is for accomplishment status of production index and development index. Meanwhile, it proposes treatment for the problems during production.

3.3 Yearly Dynamic Analysis

Analyze oil field via geologic characteristic, index completion, development effect evaluation, treatment evaluation, index forecasting etc. Moreover, it analyzes yearly dynamic analysis of oil reservoir, main problems during oil exploitation for production allocation the following year.

3.4 Period Dynamic Analysis

Through oil reservoir geographic characteristic, adaptability analysis of layer system and well network, development effective evaluation, oil remaining analysis, and index calculation etc. it recognizes geological characteristic, use water curve and indoor/outdoor test to confirm the final recovery ratio and recoverable reserves of oil reservoir. In addition, it analyzes water out behavior of oil layer, regularities distribution of remaining oil. It helps users to have a deep understanding on production rules of oil reservoir and analyzes the problems during oil reservoir development.

4. Feature

4.6 Dynamic and Static State Mapping
